We were updating our townhouse and needed custom sized curtains for three sets of large windows. After considering many options we settled on Mesken. We did everything over email and it all went smoothly. They also coordinated the installation for us. We're very happy with the results and it was all excellent value for the money we spent. We will definitely work with them again for any future window treatment needs.
Very easy to work with your website & staff to get exactly what I needed at a GREAT price. So thankful to have found you & I will be back again & again!!
Amazed at the quality of these drapes, especially at this price! I don't like my bedroom too dark and just wanted some light drapes to cut out the morning glare - these did the trick perfectly.
Got them in the color #02 they look great. I like the texture to it, though it was a little more sheer than I expected. We have direct southern light so needed something to diffuse the sun. Ideally would have liked something with a slightly thicker weave for my windows but really happy with these otherwise. The fabric has a nice feel and hangs well and looks attractive. Mesken did a great job answering all of my questions and helping me figure out what to get to hang the drapes on (I used a ceiling mounted track).
Most of us assume man-made fabrics are inferior to natural materials like cotton or linen. In fact, synthetic materials have advanced tremendously in recent years. In terms of look and feel, the synthetic fabrics we offer at Mesken are largely indistinguishable from natural ones.
Polyester and its variants have the advantage of being strong, durable, and resistant to mold and bacteria. There’s no need for dry cleaning and they’re less prone to wrinkling. Plus, they’re generally less expensive than cotton or linen.
Don’t get us wrong — we love our cotton and linen fabrics just as much. But our synthetic fabrics make great curtains that are not only stylish and practical but also more affordable.X
Ripplefold and pleated curtains are made with the following built in fullness:
Ripplefold and 2-Pinch Pleat : 2x
3-pinch pleat and Euro Pleat: 2.5x
For example if the area you want to cover is 50 inches, we first recommend you add 10% to ensure ample coverage (55”). Then use the appropriate fullness above to calculate the fabric needed. If you’ve chosen 2-pinch pleat, 55"x2= 110”. This means we would use 110” of fabric to make a curtain with a finished width of 55”X
